“In the age of social media such as Facebook, YouTube and Google+ expectations especially of the young generation towards art, in particular in public space, are changing.
Interactive installations go beyond passive reception or pure amazement and are creating an immersive communicative experience. Only by the active participation of the visitors and the hands-on exposure the work of art comes to life. Passive recipients become creative protagonists. In Dancing House the user is called on to move, to jump in order to – as hinted in the title – make the building and himself dance.”
